Terms of Service

1. Who we are

FindMyRave is operated by Since 1993 BV, a Belgian limited liability company (besloten vennootschap), with registered office at Pijphoekstraat 1, 9041 Oostakker, Belgium, and enterprise number BE1009154643. In these terms, "we", "us", "our" and "FindMyRave" refer to Since 1993 BV.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using findmyrave.com, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use FindMyRave. The service surfaces nightlife events that may include alcohol, late-night venues, and adult contexts. We capture your date of birth at sign-up and refuse accounts that don't meet the age requirement. If we discover an underage account, we will suspend it.

4. Your account

To use the app's full functionality you create an account using a working phone number. You're responsible for keeping access to that number secure — anyone who can receive your SMS can sign in. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access by emailing the contact form.

You must provide accurate information and not impersonate someone else. One person, one account.

5. The service

FindMyRave aggregates electronic music events from public sources, organisers, venues, and our community. We let you discover events, follow artists, connect with friends, plan trips, and find other ravers near you in real time during events.

The service is provided as is. We're a small team and we ship often. Features can change, appear, disappear, or break for an afternoon. We try to flag significant changes in advance.

The core consumer app is free to use. We may introduce paid tiers (for organisers or for premium features) in the future, with clear pricing before any charge.

6. User-submitted content

When you submit content to FindMyRave — events, flyers, line-ups, edits, group chat messages, posts, photos, comments, profile information — you keep ownership of it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, reformat, translate, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has been shared with other users (we can't recall every copy on every device).

You confirm that you have the right to submit any content you upload and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Don't upload someone else's flyer claiming to be its creator. Don't upload images you don't have rights to.

We may moderate user-submitted content. We may remove content that we believe violates these terms, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise harmful. We don't pre-screen most content, but we reserve the right to do so.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, stalk, or impersonate anyone
• Post sexual content, hate speech, illegal drug sales, or solicitations
• Submit fake events, fake line-ups, scam tickets, or spam
• Scrape, mass-export, or commercially exploit our data without written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
• Use the service to evade your country's laws
• Interfere with the service's security or operation
• Create multiple accounts to evade a ban

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without warning depending on severity.

8. Third-party services & content

FindMyRave links to and integrates with third-party services — Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, ticketing platforms, and others. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. When you connect an account (for example, Spotify), you're also bound by that provider's terms.

Event information is supplied by organisers, venues, and our community. We do our best to verify and curate, but we don't guarantee that every event listing is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. Always verify event details with the organiser before travelling.

9. Our intellectual property

The FindMyRave name, logo, app design, source code, database structure, and editorial content are owned by Since 1993 BV and protected by copyright, trademark, and database rights. You're granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these terms transfers any IP to you.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings, or by emailing the contact form.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we're required to by law, or if continued service would expose us or other users to undue risk. We'll notify you of termination unless we're prohibited from doing so (for example, when investigating fraud).

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

We're not responsible for what happens at events, between users, on transport to or from events, or with third-party services. You attend events and meet people at your own risk. Be smart, look out for each other.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Belgian law — including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium — except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you a different right.

As an EU consumer, you also have access to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you don't, stop using the service and delete your account.
